Speedometer 3" Chronometric Type The movement is contained in a heavy pressed steel case, specially treated internally and externally against rust. The case is finished in black enamel and the screwed-on bezel is polished chromium plate. Also available with flange bezel and cadmium finished case for nacelle or headlamp installation. Dial plain black with white figures or as illustrated and available with or without internal illumination. NOTE: The image shown is of an early chronometric. Plain / Ball-Race Bearing Gear Box The BG 1508 series of right-angle drives are fitted with plain bearings and are fitted by all the major motorcycle manufacturers. They are available in ratios to suit most standard applications, and provide an ideal means of directing the flexible drive to the instrument in a neat and easy manner. Available at extra cost: The BG 1507 series of right-angle drives, fitted with ball-races for strength, are primarily intended for competition usage, however they may be utilised wherever the component is likely to be subjected to high rotational speed, or where a suitable ratio plain bearing version is not available.
